Product overview

What is Ghost Bro?

Ghost Bro is a privacy-first AI assistant for live work. It helps with meetings, interviews, remote work, technical discussions, translations, screen analysis, transcription, and real-time suggestions while keeping provider choice in the user's hands.

What it does

Built for live work, not generic chat.

Ghost Bro watches the working context you choose, listens when transcription is enabled, and helps turn that context into useful prompts, summaries, translations, and next-step suggestions.

Meeting and interview assistance

Use Ghost Bro during calls to keep track of discussion points, prepare cleaner follow-ups, and ask for help with wording or technical context.

Screen and workflow context

Send active screen context to a configured AI model when you need help understanding an interface, a document, a code problem, or a live customer issue.

Transcription and translation

Use local transcription when privacy matters, or connect a provider such as OpenAI or Deepgram when speed, coverage, or managed infrastructure matters more.

Provider and model choice

Connect OpenAI-compatible chat providers, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, Groq, Ollama, LM Studio, or a local server when those options fit your setup.

Privacy model

Local-first where possible, explicit provider choice when needed.

Ghost Bro's public documentation states that the website is used for authentication and payment validation, while meeting content and AI requests are handled from the desktop app.

Provider keys are stored on the user's machine with Electron Safe Storage. Local Whisper and local model routes can keep more work on the device.

When a user chooses an external AI or transcription provider, the data sent to that provider is subject to that provider's policies, retention rules, and billing.

Responsible use

Ghost Bro is not built for cheating.

The product should be used as a private productivity assistant for meetings, support, sales, technical work, presentations, and learning. It is not intended for exams, dishonest interviews, surveillance, or bypassing trust in a workplace process.
