Getting Started
Add your "Expert" Skills
To get the best results, you need to tell GhostBro what kind of assistant you need.
- Open Settings (Cmd + 5).
- Navigate to the Skills section.
- Click + Add New Skill.
- Enter a name like "Executive Communicator" or "Public Speaking Coach".
- Click Select to make it your active "Expert" persona.
By adding a custom skill, you change the persona of the AI. For a meeting, avoid "Programming Expert" and use something like "Strategic Business Analyst" or "Negotiation Expert".
Configure Custom Prompt Actions
Standard "Solve" or "Debug" buttons aren't for meetings. Create actions that help you win.
Example: "Presentation Feedback"
- Role: World-class public speaking coach.
- Context: Provide 3-word bullet points of real-time feedback on tone and clarity.
Example: "Meeting Summary"
- Role: Professional secretary capturing minutes.
- Context: Capture a list of Action Items and key decisions made.
Audio Setup (Hearing the Meeting)
For GhostBro to help, it needs to hear.
- Go to Settings > Transcription Provider.
- Select Deepgram STT for low-latency, high-accuracy real-time transcription.
- Ensure your Audio Source is set correctly:
- Microphone: For in-person meetings.
- System Audio: For Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet calls.
Speaker Notes (Markdown)
Never lose your train of thought. Upload your presentation outline or speaker notes directly into GhostBro.
- Open Settings (Cmd + 5) and navigate to Markdown Notes.
- Upload your
.mddocument (bullets, bold text, and headers are fully supported). - Toggle your notes panel instantly during the meeting with Cmd + 7.
The notes panel uses a semi-transparent glassmorphism design, allowing you to glance at your bullets while staying focused on your audience.

Final Preparation
- Ghost Mode Active: Check your visibility status.
- Audio Source Verified: Test your microphone/system audio.
- Active Skill Set: Toggle to your "Expert" meeting skill using Cmd + K.
